Saudi Arabia to liberalise telecoms
In 2005, Saudi Arabia will further liberalise the telecommunications sector as part of its economic reforms, Abdulrahman al-Tuwaijri, secretary general of Saudi Arabia's Supreme Economic Council said.
Orascom Considers Mobile License Bid
Egypt's Orascom Telecom might bid for Saudi Arabia's third mobile phone license.
"No final decision has been taken yet, but we are studying the matter carefully," Chairman Naguib Sawiris said.
